He regularly performs on both RD700 and FP Ranges and highly recommends all of their products.

 

My Friend The Doctor

Barney Transcribed the full score of Kim Scharnberg’s Arrangement of My Friend The Doctor from the West End Production of Dr Dolittle.

It was performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra on Friday Night is Music Night conducted by Mike Dixon.

BBC Concert Orchestra


Barney will be playing the piano for the BBC Concert Orchestra with Alex Gaumond, John Owen-Jones, Ricardo Alfonso, Matt Rawle and Paul Spicer. He is also scoring a piece for the Orchestra to perform from the 1998 West End production of Dr Dolittle which starred Phillip Schofield as the Doctor.

Barney will be assisting Musical Director Mike Dixon on Radio 2′s Iconic Friday Night is Music Night on Friday 3rd December.

Mike Dixon has become one of the most experienced and respected musical forces in London’s West End and on British television and he shall be conducting the BBC Concert Orchestra in this A Tribute to The Soaps edition of the show.

As Coronation Street prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, Radio 2 salutes the soaps with this special Friday Night is Music Night concert. Mike Dixon conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra as Ken Bruce presents some musical memories of Peyton Place, Dr Kildare, the Appleyards and Mrs Dale’s Diary.

Special guests include Tony Hatch, Wendi Peters, Richard Shelton and the cast of the new Coronation Street musical Rogues, Angels, Heroes and Fools.

Tiffany Graves – Lauderdale House

Barney will be accompanying the incredible Tiffany Graves in Cabaret at Lauderdale House on Sunday the 14th November before she joins the tour of We Will Rock You for which she will play the role of Killer Queen.

Tiffany is currently Helene in the highly acclaimed production of Sweet Charity (Theatre Royal Haymarket), and often plays the title role. Her previous West End appearances include Chicago in which she appeared as Velma Kelly, Shout, Cats, Follies (Royal Festival Hall), Chess in Concert (Royal Albert Hall) and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (National Theatre). Tiffany’s extensive touring experience includes Run for Your Wife, Tonight’s the Night, A Chorus Line and Godspell. Cabaret credits encompass An Evening with Tony Hatch, singing with The Kitsch Lounge Riot at The Cafe de Paris and Pigalle Club and her own evening with Tom Wakeley at RADA.
