Barney will be Musical Director for the Arts Educational Schools London’s Summer School working with Choreographer Ewan Jones.
The course runs for two weeks from Monday 19th July – Friday 30th July.

Barney in collaboration with Choreographer Ewan Jones has set up a new company,
The AshworthJones Academy has been established to provide quality musical theatre based courses and workshops for all abilities, genders and age groups.
We employ West End creative practitioners to run our tailored courses and workshops at educational establishments and companies across the UK and Internationally.
Founded by Barney Ashworth and Ewan Jones, the AshworthJones Academy has provided tuition at ‘The Arts Educational school of Musical Theatre’; currently the foremost performing arts school in the country, Trinity College of Music, Stagecoach Theatre Arts, The American School in London, Downe House School for Girls, The Eastside Educational Trust, Mind The Gap theatre company and many other leading educational establishments.
We have already built up a highly acclaimed reputation for being able to offer tailored courses to suit all ages, genders and abilities giving an authentic West End experience that inspires novices and professionals alike.

ArtsEd Easter Courses
Barney is the Musical Director on two different courses next week at the Arts Educational Schools London.
In the mornings he will be working with Choreographer Ewan Jones on the ‘Create a Musical in a Week’ course and in the afternoons on Chris Hocking’s ‘West End Week’
On the ‘West End Week’ Course, Barney will be working with West End cast members and choreographers from Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Chicago, Wicked & We Will Rock You. Teaching students parts of each show both Choreographically & Vocally.
On the Saturday, Barney will be Musically Directing for the ArtsEd Open Day as previously mentioned in this News Blog.
